⁂ THE CABIN
Welcome to our beautiful cabin nestled in the heart of the mountains! "Little Bear Escape" is the perfect mountain getaway, combining rustic charm and modern updates. The cabin contains ideal modern comforts with the excitement of mountain life. Become immersed in the Smokies while staying just a short drive from all the attractions and activities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the surrounding area!

Little Bear Escape boasts 3 bedrooms, each with comfortable beds, storage, and a Smart TV. It's the perfect space for a family or group of friends to relax in comfort and style. The bedrooms are designed with relaxation in mind, so you can be sure to get a good night's sleep. The cabin is situated in a peaceful setting surrounded by trees, offering a sense of privacy and tranquility.

Spacious living area with fireplace, comfortable seating and Smart TV. There is a wood-burning fireplace and a front deck that overlooks the beautiful wooded yard. The cabin has an open floor plan with the dining area and kitchen on the main level. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and comes with everything you need to make a variety of meals! You can also enjoy a cookout with the BBQ Grill and outdoor picnic table on the deck. There is a Washer and Dryer available for your use and the cabin also has free High Speed Wi-Fi! The second level of the cabin includes two full-sized bedrooms (Queen-sized beds) with a shared full bathroom, and additional seating areas.

Outside, you'll find plenty of space to enjoy the natural surroundings. The large yard is perfect for a game of catch or a picnic, and the firepit is perfect for late-night fires and storytelling! Just off the driveway, you'll find space for cornhole and horseshoes. The front deck has very comfortable furniture and a large 6-7 person hot tub to soak and relax in.

Finally, although you get the benefit of no traffic and being more secluded, away from it all, you will not have to navigate steep challenging roads to access our home. Our cabin is just off a main public paved road, yet is a short drive to all the attractions and entertainment in the area!

Modern, fully-equipped kitchen; full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and a full suite of appliances perfect for cooking all of your meals! Includes pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc. There is a dining table located right off the kitchen with seating for eight, as well as kitchen island seating for 6. Or take your picnic outside and enjoy the picnic table and patio seating in the fresh mountain air!

Plenty of parking for 4 cars. Small-midsize RV or trailer could also be accommodated. There are no steep mountain roads to get to the cabin.
The driveway is gravel and you can park at the top near the cabin or at the bottom near the front deck.

⦿ The cabin is located in a quiet, residential area near English Mountain.
⦿ Uber/Lyft are both available in the area.

The property has easy access to all of the area's attractions, including Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

* Maximum occupancy is 8 guests.
* There is a strict no-smoking policy.
* There is a strict no-pet policy.
* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to purchase (or bring) additional items.
*The fireplace is unavailable April 1 to October 1 (Standard for cabins in the area). Firewood is not provided but is available from most stores locally.
* The top level of the driveway currently requires 4WD to access. For those without 4WD vehicles, you are able to park on the lower level and walk up the hill in the driveway to the front porch.

* We have partnered with BabyQuip - the #1 baby equipment rental service and marketplace. BabyQuip offers rentals for your trip, including Cribs, Strollers, High Chairs, Toys/Games, Bouncers, Health and Safety Items, Outdoor Items, and More! Our local rep, Kelly, would be happy to connect you with any items you may need during your stay! Ask us for more information!

* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter conditions.

* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.

"I booked this place for my bestfriend birthday. Drove 4.5 hours, just for them to cancel 3 hours before check in no call, no text, no reason. we later found out by calling air b&b that it was because of the weather. Mind you it has been forecasted to snow and had bad weather for the last 2 weeks. They could have canceled it a week before or even a couple days. We were already in gatlinburg having lunch. Luckily we were able to get all our money back and booked a different air b&b with Maria and Matt i believe. They were great! i explained what happened with Jen and Mike and they even gave us an extra night for free just in case the weather!! So don’t book with them if there might be had weather however my friend booked with them last year and did have a good experience so i bet the air b&b would have been great.

"We had a great stay! The place was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. There was one small issue when we arrived, but the host responded right away and took care of it quickly. "it was a cozy nice little home with activities to keep you occupied! we were provided with enough towels for personal use and hot tub use. the lights to the hot tub unfortunately weren't working and the cornhole wasn't out. Another thing we noticed was the dishes when we arrived, were badly dirty with water stains and we had to clean them all again before use. although the scenic ride to the location was beautiful! we enjoyed the peacefulness of it being further away from the busy areas.

"Awesome cabin near the mountains. Plenty of chairs to use the large campfire and the hot tub comfortably seated us. We were able to cook all our meals in the cabin thanks to the stocked kitchen. The cabin certainly is a little remote but we knew this before booking. Overall had no big issues and would be happy to stay again!

"Place needs maintenance, cleanliness and pest control (roaches). House is in good location but lacks cleaning and up keep. Responsive host, as we reported the issues, they tried to rectify it by sending cleaners and also issue partial refund.

"Home was very accommodating and peaceful. A little further from town than expected but not horribly far. (Roads in are very windy) When 1st arriving had some issues with cleanliness and a bees nest that stopped us from being able to use the hot tub for the remainder of the trip. Contacted Jen & Mike and with quick responce the issues were addressed in some since or another.

"a great, cozy cabin to stay in on a getaway to the mountains. the newest addition seems to be the paved driveway, which now takes care of the steep incline , very easy to navigate and get up now. i would recommend this place to anyone who asked. great hosts everything was pristine and as described.

"Nestled deep in the woods , this cabin is a visual dream ! The landscape was very stunning , the hot tub was clean and the cabin was extremely spacious . The decor was cozy and chic allowing me to really get that cabin feel I was going for . However , it became apparent that the cabin had a severe roach problem . Around the second night we had seen one upstairs dead , and from there on the amount we saw continued to increase . The roaches were very bad around the kitchen , but we also found them in the downstairs bathroom , as well as the downstairs bedroom . Despite the cabin's undeniable beauty , the roach issue caused us to feel a little uneasy on staying there . Although the place was clean , seeing the roaches frequently kind of overshadowed that sense of cleanliness .

Hi ChaRon, thanks for staying with us. Just to be clear, you communicated no issues about bugs during your stay and never even mentioned it to us. Not sure why, if the bugs "were very bad," you wouldn't have mentioned it during a 6 night stay. ** For future guests ** We have pest control treat the cabin monthly and they also come out in between treatments if guests have any concerns. We are always happy to have them come out to assist or treat if you make us aware. We haven't had any guests before or since this stay mention anything.

"The cabin was awesome, just like the pictures! There was plenty of room for all of us and it had everything we needed. I felt that it was a great value for the price we paid. It’s about 30 minutes away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but we got accustomed to the roads and scenery after the first day and the drive gave us a chance to wind down after a day of shopping and site seeing. There’s a Dollar General Market about 10 minutes away if you need to pick up anything. The driveway is a bit steep and the gravel can wash away or wear down from tires, but the hosts have more gravel added periodically to minimize this issue. There’s room to park toward the middle and end of the driveway if your car has trouble getting to the top. All in all we would definitely stay here again during a future trip!

"My family had the best vacation for Thanksgiving in this beautiful cabin! The hosts were extremely helpful and communicated thoroughly before and after we arrived. We had so much space even with 4 kiddos. I definitely recommend for anybody needing a little home away from home.

"It was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at. It looked just like the pictures! And, it was super super clean. Like, really clean. Interior was amazing. So many fun things to do (board games, video games, tv). And outside was super pretty. My fiance was able to go outside and paint in the mornings. It was a dream. Truly. If you're thinking about staying here, do! Its secluded, peaceful, restful, and amazing. It was a shame we had to leave hahaha. Oh, and the beds! Super comfortable. Slept great in them. Was a terrific place!

"We had a great time here at the cabin. A family reunion with cousins. The foliage was turning colors and just spectacular. The house is on a very quiet road. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Hosts were proactive in texting me to be sure we had no trouble getting in. They were quick to respond when I had difficulty with the internet and gave me another password that worked immediately. The closest market down the hill is the DG market and they had all the essentials. maybe about 10 min drive.

"Jen and Mike’s home lived up to all of the photos. Jen and Mike were quick to respond with any questions that we had. You are off the grid a little. The roads to arrive at the home were curvy, dark at night but otherwise not steep and easy to access. I would recommend their home to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful place to vacation.

"Enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The hot tub and fire pit were great amenities! Very communicative hosts. A little far out from the main attractions of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but enjoyed the peacefulness and being away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for a great stay!

"Great stay, no complaints! Helpful hosts and lovely family oriented cabin. There were plenty of linens along with extra blankets and throws, a wood burning fireplace, and an outdoor fire pit. The hot tub was lovely along with the ammenities and furnishings of the home. Not a complaint at all, but heed to other mothers of young kiddos, definitely take up their option for equipment provisions for babies, or bring your own. The only thing I would really ask for is a baby gate on-site. It wasn't an item I thought to bring and was definitely a battle with my 18mo. I loved the property though and would definitely stay again. The hosts are super helpful and communicative via app and phone. 10/10

"We were sad when our vacation ended and wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful location and very private. You are about 30 min from just about all the big attractions. Fully stocked cabin with all the essentials. The upper part of the driveway is not accessible with a car, so if you have mobility issues this won't be the place for you. We easily brought our luggage up the hill and parked at the bottom. Hot tub was so relaxing after so much walking and hiking in the mountains.

"We will be staying again! I have nothing bad to say! We had a few problems with getting up the driveway with one of our vehicles that didn’t have 4x4 but it was a fun challenge for the guys in our group! "We had a great stay at Jen and Mikes place! It was very quiet and cozy! The hotub and hanging chairs were so cute! We would definitely recommend. The only negative thing would have been the driveway was very hard to get up, but the owners were very responsive and did say they were getting that fixed! Overall we had a great time!

"We had an amazing stay here. We had a barbecue and used the hot tub. It was really peaceful and fun. The sitting area in the second floor is really nice and we spent a lot of time here. The bathrooms were clean and the host Mike was very responsive. They took care of us really well. The accommodation was very clean and in the most perfect location where it was a little isolated but not too out of the way. The layout of the house and the amenities are amazing. Would definitely return here.

"The place is beautiful and spacious, plenty of outdoor seating, comfortable beds and very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The down side is the steep gravel driveway which bothered my sister and I being disabled but if you’re really active you might be ok, but be careful especially if you have to park at the end of the driveway and if it rain. We did have an issue with one of the beds having several strands of hair and the blanket not smelling fresh which was a let down for me especially when paying a cleaning fee. Overall we still enjoyed the place and the host communicated well.
