🏕️ THE CABIN
Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting less than a mile from Dollywood, Applewood Lodge is the perfect family retreat—spacious, serene, and packed with comfort and fun. This newly updated, multi-level cabin sleeps up to 10 and features four cozy bedrooms with king beds, three full bathrooms, and a layout designed for both relaxation and together time.

On the main level, you’ll find a warm and inviting living area with a fireplace and Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space for shared meals, and two comfortable bedrooms. Head upstairs for two more bedrooms and an additional full bath.

Downstairs, the entertainment begins—challenge your crew to pool or arcade games in the game room, toss in a load of laundry with the full-size washer and dryer, or step outside to soak in the hot tub under the stars. The game room and lower level are wheelchair accessible, and a ramp offers easy entry into the home.

Outside, enjoy a spacious deck with rustic seating, a propane grill, and the sounds of the Smoky Mountains. You might even catch Dollywood’s nightly fireworks show or hear the distant train whistle. Applewood Lodge is your relaxing home base—peaceful and private, yet just minutes from all the fun of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.

* Bedrooms #1 & #2 (Main Level): Indulge in the luxury of spacious bedrooms featuring king-sized beds, Smart TVs, and plenty of storage space. Bedroom #1 has a dedicated workspace.
* Bedrooms #3 & #4 (Upper Level): Two additional peaceful bedrooms upstairs with king-sized beds, Smart TVs and storage.
Additional Sleeping: Full-sized futon in game room.

Welcome to your kitchen getaway—where cooking is part of the fun. Fire up the range, stock the full-size fridge, and let the fully equipped space (microwave, dishwasher, and more) inspire your inner chef. From pots and pans to glassware and utensils, it’s all here and ready. Start your mornings on the deck with fresh coffee, then gather around the nearby dining table for cozy meals, laughter, and stories shared late into the evening.

The driveway is up a hill but it is paved. The parking area is flat. There is plenty of parking for 3-4 vehicles.

Guests can access the entire cabin with the exception of the owner's closet.

We are available if you have any questions or concerns. We can be reached via Airbnb messenger.

* Quiet hours are 11pm-7am.
* Maximum occupancy is 8 guests.
* There is a strict no-smoking policy.
* There is a strict no-pet policy.
* The fireplace is unavailable April 1 to October 1 (Standard for area cabins)
* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to bring extras with you or prepare to pick them up during your stay!

*If you have a group larger than 8, our sister cabin 'Bearfoot Inn' is located in the same resort and sleeps up to 4 additional guests.

* We have partnered with BabyQuip - the #1 baby equipment rental service and marketplace. BabyQuip offers rentals for your trip, including Cribs, Strollers, High Chairs, Toys/Games, Bouncers, Health and Safety Items, Outdoor Items, and More! Our local rep, Kelly, would be happy to connect you with any items you may need during your stay! Ask us for more information!

* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter conditions.

* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The included highchair was perfect for our grandchild. Love that it was so close to everything we done, Dollywood, Mountain Coaster, The Island, etc. What an incredible experience it was to sit on the front porch each night and watch Dollywood's firework show! "We loved our stay at the cabin. The game room was an absolute hit! Kept the kids and adults entertained with the arcade and pool table. We enjoyed the hot tub! The Dollywood fire works are visible from the front porch/hot tub. Perfect location for us as our trip was to visit the park. Lots of memories made. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast & dinner each night. Would highly recommend! Also, the owner was 10 out of 10 with communication during our stay! Thank you, guys!

"Cabin was just as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of extra touches from the high chair and pack n play (if you have littles) to the charging stations beside the bed. Great stay and location - would come again.

"Just what we wanted for our family get together in Tennessee before the holidays! Beautiful cabin and had everything we needed! We were pleasantly surprised with the kids plates, bowls and cups in the cabinets for our little ones. Our 2.5 and 6 year old loved the arcade games and the bananarama candy in the corner! I enjoyed practicing my shot at the billiards while the kids played. We did bring the kids sound machines but the rooms were pretty soundproof from the noises in the living room. The Christmas tree was a nice touch in the living room and we enjoyed all the real wood furniture! Definitely will recommend to others who are visiting the area. We were thrilled that Dollywood was so close and downtown Gatlinburg was only 20 minutes away!

"What a fabulous cabin! For our multi-generational family of grandparents, college-age, adults with little ones….the stand-out feature of this cabin was the large living room with plenty of seating, with a large adjacent separate room equipped with a full pool table, large futon, full bathroom, and large TV…..we were able to have completely separate activities going on simultaneously with various groups in the spacious kitchen, living room, and recreation room! The layout was very accommodating to our full large family being comfortable together whenever we came home from Dollywood, which was EXTREMELY CLOSE - perfect for lots of dropping off and picking up throughout our three full days. The kitchen was VERY well-stocked. Nice, large bedrooms! We plan to return to this cabin some day! Note that the driveway is fully paved yet very steep - you’ll definitely need 4-wheel drive and good tires to ascend safely. Two large SUV’s fit comfortably at the top, maybe 3 smaller cars.

"We really enjoyed our stay! You could not ask for a better location if you were interested in Dollywood. You were actually closer than the resort itself. It was also a great location for other things in the area, close to the restaurants, stores, and other attractions. They have a well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and provide the basics to get you started for your trip. We loved that there were large beds in each of the room, so everyone had an empty space to be comfortable. Quiet road with beautiful surrounding of trees! Our kids also enjoyed the game room activities. The only thing is that the driveway is very steep. We had no issue finding it and getting up to the cabin though! The house was really kind and a wonderful communicator, reaching out offering assistance if needed. I imagine they would be very accommodating for any additional needs! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

"The cabin was absolutely everything we hoped it would be and more. It was is well stocked with everything you need during your stay, the rooms were spacious and cozy at the same time. The location was amazing. Literally across the street from Dollywood and minutes from other attractions. Our hosts were fantastic as well. Answered my questions quickly and took the time to even call me when our GPS lost signal to direct us to the cabin.We would definitely rebook this cabin again and highly recommend Applewood Lodge.

"We loved the cabin. Perfect size cabin for our ladies group of 6. The only issue we had was the first night of our stay we had a pretty significant rainfall and the roof leaked and soaked one of our beds. Otherwise the cabin was perfect, secluded, and had all of the amenities that we needed.

"Jen and Mike’s place was amazing for our family! We had 6 adults and 3 kiddos under 4 and it was the perfect set up. We brought extra playpens for the little to sleep in and it worked perfectly. The house had everything we needed and we lacked nothing. The hot tub was amazing as well! We loved the large fridge and having plenty of counter space for cooking too! Very close to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg and we could have walked to Dollywood! We would recommend this place to anyone. If you’re on the short side and vertically challenged like I am, bring a little step stool with you if you plan to sleep in one of the beds upstairs. I had to “heave-ho” myself up there, but it was worth it because that bed was super comfy! 😂 Over all, great experience and easy communication with our hosts!
