One of the largest and most valuable spots on the Little River. This property has 120+ feet of Little River frontage on just under an acre. Set up for a maximum of 4 guests, this river paradise is ideal for the mountain getaway on the most scenic river in the Smokies! Includes a 2BR River Cottage (650 sq ft), 16x24 Covered Outdoor Pavilion, Front and Back Porches, and an outdoor bathhouse. Plenty of room for parking, easy parking for motorcycle trailers or RVs!

⁂ THE COTTAGE
Moon River is an adorable, completely remoted riverfront cottage! The highlight of your stay is the 640 Square Feet of Indoor Living space and nearly an acre to enjoy directly on the Little River. The private outdoor pavilion is an on-the river paradise with a picnic table, kitchen sink, countertops, sitting hammock, a picnic table, and a bar (with 4 bar stools) overlooking the Little River. There is also a BBQ grill.

There is an outdoor bathhouse that is convenient for guests outdoors to quickly use a separate bathroom without entering the Cottage. The bathhouse is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and plenty of room for changing or extra storage space for any river items or outdoor games that won't fit in the cottage.

There are two chairs on the rear porch along with a privacy wall constructed between you and the closest neighbor. This is one of the only properties on the Little River that has this much space to roam, park, and have access to so much river. It is also one of the only river properties that does not have a direct view of highway 321 on the opposite side of the river. It is a truly unique space!

This kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. Dishes, silverware, cookware, cooking, and grilling utensils are all provided. There is also a dining table just off the kitchen that seats 4.

⁂ AMENITIES
In addition to the above, there is high-speed internet/Wi-Fi. The TV is a smart TV with access to Netflix and other streaming apps. There is a DVD player if you would like to bring some movies along with you. This kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. Dishes, silverware, cookware, cooking, and grilling utensils are all provided.

The most unique and cutest spot on the Little River. If you value space and privacy and then you will absolutely LOVE your stay at the Moon River Cottage.

Free parking for up to 4 cars. Small RV or trailer could also be accommodated. The driveway and parking spaces are gravel.

The property has easy access to all of the area's attractions, including Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

* Quiet hours are 11pm-7am.
* Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.
* There is a strict no-smoking policy.
* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to purchase (or bring) additional items.
* Firewood is not provided but is available at most stores in the area.

* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter conditions.

* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.

"This place was great. We didn’t spend a lot of time there due to having a full itinerary but we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. Only thing it doesn’t have a washer or dryer. Would have been nice. But despite that we had no complaints. The river was peaceful. Def recommend

"We had an amazing stay at Jen and Mike’s property. The river front view was absolutely amazing, especially in the morning! Jen and Mike were quick to respond and were accommodating to our asks. "Unfortunately the place was a little dusty with excessive pet hair and dander .Also right off of a main road and lots of traffic sounds,but the host was very flexible and understanding.

"Jen and Mike’s place was the perfect location for us. The place looked like the photos. We did not really use the pavilion since it was a short stay and a bit chilly but we sat on the back porch a lot. The river was very relaxing. I didn’t hear anything from the neighbors so they must be quiet. It was easy to find and get in. I would stay again.

"This was a beautiful stay. The river flowing right in the back yard was just a stunning getaway from everyday life. I spent more time outdoors than in, and the outdoor setup was perfect. The photos seem to be a bit outdated, but it still checked every box on my list and met my needs. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the home, so although the walls are thin, you still have privacy. The road this home is on does have several homes, but everything is spaced nicely and does not feel crowded. When out back by the river, I only saw one person that was not with our stay on the porch of their Air B&B. The community locals were all just lovely. The owners were just great to communicate with. Nothing we did on the tourist end was outrageously priced. This was the perfect trip without breaking the bank. PS- look up the natural spring down the road. Best water you'll ever taste. I promise.

"It’s a beautiful property, we bought a house locally and needed a place to stay overnight before signing. I’m honestly sad we didn’t get to enjoy this location more. It was gorgeous, with an outside space to match over looking the river. I think after life settles down again we will have to book at least another night to thoroughly enjoy the scenery! I forgot to sign the guest book, but I truly couldn’t have done it justice with the 14ish hours I was there.

"Our stay at Moonriver was quite nice. The location is ideal to all that Townsend, TN has to offer & also to the Smokies & Cades Cove. The Pavilion overlooking the Little River, right out the back door, is a BIG plus. It's one of the main reasons we'd like to come again - to enjoy that part of the property more. All the access & accommodation information was just as advertised. The coffee bar was especially nice. We'll definitely look for availability here next time we come this way

"We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful few days on the river. The property was as described and just right for our family of 3. There is a short but rocky descent to the river. Doable—but be aware— and each day we spent a few hours just relaxing in the water. Stores and restaurants were an easy 15-20 minutes away. On our last day, we toured Tuckaleechee Caverns.

"This was the perfect location to visit the GSMP but avoid the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. About 45 minutes from Sugarlands visitor center and 30 minutes from the start of the Cades Cove Loop. Close to many good restaurants and bar options.
