Welcome to Papa Bear’s Pool Cabin—your ultimate mountain retreat in the Smokies, designed for relaxation, adventure, and memory-making. Located in scenic Black Bear Ridge Resort, this spacious getaway offers something for everyone—from cozy family dinners to action-packed game nights.

Step inside to a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a large dining table, and extra seating at the countertop bar—perfect for sharing meals and stories. The main level features an inviting open-concept living room with plush furniture, a warm electric fireplace, a large Smart TV, and oversized windows that flood the space with natural light.

Head upstairs to find all four bedrooms, including three primary suites with king beds and a bunk bed room with Queen-over-Queen bunks. All bathrooms have an attached full bathroom.

Downstairs is where the fun begins. The lower level is home to the private indoor heated pool and a game room loaded with arcade games, and a Smart TV—ideal for hours of entertainment. There’s also a half-bath on this level and easy access to the outdoor hot tub, where you can soak under the stars or relax with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife that often visits the surrounding woods!

Whether you’re here to explore the Smokies or just stay in and enjoy the cabin’s many amenities, Papa Bear’s Pool Cabin is the perfect home base for your next getaway.

🛌 SLEEPING:
* Bedroom #1 (Upper Level): Indulge in the luxury of a spacious bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, smart TV, in-room fireplace and plenty of storage space. The bedroom has an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower.
* Bedroom #2 (Upper Level): A second spacious bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, smart TV, and plenty of storage space. The bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
* Bedroom #3 (Upper Level): An additional peaceful bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, storage space and a Smart TV. This bedroom includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
* Bedroom #4 (Upper Level): This spacious bedroom features Queen-over-Queen bunk beds. This room also comes with a large TV, storage space, and an attached full bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
** Additional Sleeping: Sleeper Sofa in Living Room on main level.

The parking area is mostly flat, on a bit of a slope. There is parking for 4 vehicles.

Guests can access the entire cabin with the exception of the owner's closet.

We are available if you have any questions or concerns. We can be reached via Airbnb messenger.

* Quiet hours are 11pm-7am.
* Maximum occupancy is 12 guests.
* There is a strict no-smoking policy.
* There is a strict no-pet policy.
* The fireplace is unavailable April 1 to October 1 (Standard for area cabins)
* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to bring extras with you or prepare to pick them up during your stay!

*If you have a group larger than 12, our sister cabin 'Liam's Landing' is located in the same resort and sleeps up to 12 additional guests.

* We have partnered with BabyQuip - the #1 baby equipment rental service and marketplace. BabyQuip offers rentals for your trip, including Cribs, Strollers, High Chairs, Toys/Games, Bouncers, Health and Safety Items, Outdoor Items, and More! Our local rep, Kelly, would be happy to connect you with any items you may need during your stay! Ask us for more information!

* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter conditions.

* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.

* The waterfall feature in the pool room isn't currently operational.

"Jen and Mike’s cabin was a perfect getaway. Upon arrival, it was an easy self check in with entry code. The cabin was also clean and well maintained. So much to do in the cabin with the game room, pool table and pool and hot tub. Hosts very friendly and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

"This cabin was truly beyond our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cabin is fully equipped with everything a house could possibly need—and more. Traveling with several kids of different ages can be challenging, but this place was absolutely perfect for our family. Everyone was comfortable, happy, and had space to enjoy. The hosts were wonderful, with excellent communication from start to finish—always responsive, kind, and helpful. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, which made our stay stress-free and so enjoyable. This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Highly, recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, family-friendly, and unforgettable stay! :)

"🤣😂 So disappointed! (NOT REALLY) It was so miserable having to stay in a perfectly beautiful home with mountain views, a hot tub, arcade games, and it's very own heated pool! Just torture! (NOT AT ALL). Lol 😂....................🤣.................... Seriously, absolutely beautiful home! It was very clean, (coming from a clean freak), the kids and I battled it out on a PacMan game! I won! The older kids played pool, we loved spending time in the swimming pool together! It was just perfect! Then end your evenings in the hot tub. It can't get any better! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The ONLY thing I'd changed is that it NEEDED a Christmas tree! Other than that, truly don't wait! Book this cabin! It's close to ALL the main attractions! We have stayed a lot of places, but the location of this cabin is perfect! ❤️

"We visit the area often and this was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The place was so clean and they even allowed us to check in a few minutes early which was super helpful with 3 little kids! We will absolutely be staying here again whenever we visit again. "First of all this place was easy to get to we had no problem finding it… The cabin was VERY spacious and clean! All of the amenities were fun and working well! We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi the most! During the stay Mike and Jen were very attentive .. friendly and responded quickly! I would a 100% recommend this spot and would love to work with them again🫶🏼

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful, very spacious, and spotless upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The décor and layout made it easy to relax, and the view, while not completely unobstructed, was still lovely and gave that Smoky Mountain charm. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub—both were clean, well-kept, and such a fun addition to our stay. The only downside was the outdoor grill, which was dirty and rusted, so unfortunately we couldn’t safely cook on it. I also would have appreciated having more accessible cleaning supplies, like a broom or some general household products, to help tidy up during the stay. Aside from those minor inconveniences, everything else was well-maintained, comfortable, and overall provided a great getaway experience. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others and would consider coming back again!

"This was a very meaningful vacation for my family and I and this cabin was everything we imagined. There were a few hiccups before we arrived...when renting a vacation home this is expected from time to time, but everything was completed before we arrived. She (Bree) stayed in contact with us throughout our stay and was biggest sweetheart imaginable. After fixing the hiccups she sent "crumble cookies and wine along with a very sweet cleaning lady to ensure our stay was up to our standards. The place is beautiful and has everything and more you could ask for in a vacation rentals. We all enjoyed the pool and arcade room along with the pool table and lounging. If God permits me to rent again ill definitely go through these guys...they are amazing and will not disappoint...Thanks again for a vacation to remember!!

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful time and Jen and Mike's cabin. Cabin was very clean, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and game room. Also loved the large bedrooms. The cabin is very close to area attractions and restaurants which was great. We would definitely stay here again!
